Hello, I'm having Issues with Microsoft Outlook 2016 (version 15.39 (171010)). The problem is that when scheduling a meeting it adds the following part itself: ' When: 20 October 2017 15:00-15:30. UTC. ' The meeting is booked at 17:00-17:30 in UTC+1. So even if it's trying to show the time in UTC (Which i REALLY don't want it to do, because this confuses all of the recipients) it's still wrong. The Outlook - Preferences - Calendar - Time zones is set to UTC+1 Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern etc System Preferences - Date & Time - Date & Time is set to apple.europe.com System Preferences - Date & Time - Time Zone is set to 'Automatically using current location' BUT it's showing Sweden/Stockholm.
I have tried setting these manually, doesn't help. I have tried changing the timezones to see if any difference in the text, doesn't change When I book a meeting in Outlook on a windows computer, with the same account, it does NOT add this extra text in the invitation. I only want this text to go away, the time of the meeting is correct compared to the time it was meant to be, but the extra subject text is added after the meeting is created and confuses all recipients. Regards, Ehsan.
Hi Ehsan, In Outlook for Mac, when you create a new meeting or appointment, Outlook uses the default time zone in your Outlook preferences for Calendar. If you want, you can specify a different time zone for an event as you are creating it. To display the Time zone selector, on either the Organizer Meeting tab or the Appointment tab, click Time Zones. I'd like to confirm whether the issue only occurs on every meeting you create. Since the issue does not exist Outlook for Windows, it can be identified as a client issue on Outlook for Mac. If so, it is suggested that you use Contact Support on the Help menu to get dedicated help in Outlook for Mac:. Thanks, Lance.
